Above all, the Porsche 997 is the visual and technical again sharpened development of the basically successful design (also see our text on the 996)!
The rear glass window is standard designed as a replacement disc and can be easily installed by an expert.

For Porsche owners who like to "tune" - and do not lose sight of the sense of the practical: Attention!
Here is our CK-Cabrio in-house development:
Our Porsche 911 996/997 CURRUS® SPEEDSTER-STYLE hood with new designed glass rear window!
We like our CURRUS® SPEEDSTER-STYLE soft top so much that we also offer it as an "upgrade" for the 911/996 from '03 and the type 997.
A customer, who saw a finished 996er "SPEEDSTER-STYLE" and immediately ordered this version for his 997er, led us to realize this idea.
We have shortened the window in the height, but we could leave it in the width.
The width is the primary decisive feature for the field of view.
The limitations of the visibility at the CK-Cabrio upgrade/retrofit to glass are therefore more of theoretical nature.
The Porsche 911 997 Cabriolet looks like a Speedster version with the closed glass window convertible top!
It is a bit of chillipepper, which the 911 996/997ers well tolerate!
We handcraft the Porsche soft tops for the 996/997ers and all the Boxsters according to the current industry standards of the original Porsche system suppliers (CTS / Magna-Group)!
Seams, bonds/reinforcements, tensioning cables ... everything as with the current originals.
This ensures the full value retention of your Porsche.
"German Engineering" is refined to the highest level, literally and sensually "refined"!
The assembly of a 996/997 soft top is much more complex and time-consuming than it may seem at first glance. It takes us approximately 9 - 10 hours to get it done.
