An absolute cult car, until today and in all eternity!

There are quite a few - and yet the market is small and prices have been high and higher for thirty years. Money is better invested in a Porsche 356 than in so-called “financial products”!

Anyone who owns a 356 usually keeps it a long time. In that sense it is a family car - because it's part of it.

Interestingly, the companies that focus on the 356 and that we work with together are among our most loyal customers.

There is a pretty big type diversification. We have not been able to sample everything for over three decades - but almost everything.

With regard to the value retention of the respective 356er, the original restoration has priority. Of course, this also applies to the soft top.

The very Spartan Speedster was replaced after the factory holidays in 1958 by the Convertible D (A-body), which was called from 1959 as "B" then 356 Roadster. The convertible top has remained the same.

The Roadster are something like a slimmed-down convertible version and have a tricky soft top folding mechanism:

After opening the closures, the main bow must be pulled forward, second the panoramic rear window, which is always problematic concerning the folding, must be placed down properly, after that the frame can be pushed in correctly. Everything else handling is improper and is punished with damage to said panoramic rear window. The owners should familiarize themselves with this feature.
