The Wankelspider was the first car in the world with a Wankel engine.
The engine itself is significantly smaller than a beer crate and also hardly weighs like a full.
In and of itself it’s still the best combustion engine concept.
Too bad, that the potential is/was developed only sporadically in a small frame.
The Spider is a real "corner scrubber" and at that time he was considered as extra nippy.
He undoubtedly won many races in his class, especially in the then very popular hillclimbing.

The assembly of a Wankelspider softtop is much more complex and time-consuming than it may seem at first glance. It takes us approximately 8 - 9 hours to get it done.
