The Honda S2000 has three faces: Up to 5000 rpm it appears to be well-engineered, like a good-going Alfa 2l Fastback Spider. Untrained drivers should leave it here easy.
From 5-7000 rpm the Honda mutates to a sports car, starting at 7000 rpm the rice is cooked on the road.
The propulsion is in a good relationship to the crazy sound spectacle.
The Honda offers a very good open-driving feeling through the quite steep windshield.
The windshield frame is far from the forehead of the occupants and the sky is therefore open wide.
The soft top operation is simple, super fast and comfortable.

Attention! SOFT TOP ALERT at the Honda S2000!
Subject: Rasp marks on the convertible top as a result of an altered limit stop when the convertible top is open.
The microswitches are often crushed/defective. This creates rasp marks as secondary damages. We have been able to observe this with increasing age with some S2000 and it is apart from that independent of the soft top type/model(!).
In our manufacture, we check the S2000 for more details on whether this is the case with the rasp marks when the old part is to be replaced.
We recommend to do the same to all customers before ordering from us.

The Honda S2000 acoustic convertible top of CK-Cabrio is, in the first place, a TECHNICAL development! We have changed the cut.
It is also an "upgrade" in the direction of coherent look and workmanship!
It is not a disadvantage, if technical benefits also look aesthetically!
The lateral gutters are also practical.
Our one-piece acoustic soft top looks more harmonious and "more appropriate" than the original!

CURRUS® Line by CK-Cabrio / RENOLIT Flexglas®-panorama rear window
Our recommendation is the one-piece CURRUS® acoustic luxury convertible top with the Flexglas®-panorama rear window in green tint, conversion kit (for 2001-2009) and rain gutters.
We decided to do this, because in our opinion, the variant with the Flexglas® really fits perfectly to the design of the S2000.
The Honda stands there as if made from one piece.
